We put Andhra Pradesh's startups on one map. Here's what it does.

A walk through the Andhra Startup Map: 76 startups across 26 cities, each linked to its source, plus a jobs board that checks every job is still open.

Ask anyone in Vizag or Vijayawada to name ten local startups and most people stop at three. The companies exist. They just don't show up anywhere together. You find one on a news site, another in a government list from 2021, a third because a friend works there.

So we built one place for them. The Andhra Startup Map has 76 startups across 26 cities of Andhra Pradesh, each pinned where it works, and each one linked to wherever we found it.

Every pin is a company's logo. Click it and you get the short version: what they do, their stage, their sector, and a link to their website.

Numbers in green are groups of companies close together. Zoom in and they split apart.

Every company says where it came from

This is the part we care about most. A directory is only as good as its sources, and most directories never tell you theirs. Every company here carries a label:

Verified: we confirmed it ourselves.
Registry: it's in an official company register.
Press: it was covered by a news outlet.
Listed: it appears in a public startup list.
Submitted: the founders added it themselves.

Open any company page and the sources are right there, clickable. If something looks wrong, you can check it in about five seconds.

Filter, or just browse

The bar at the top filters by city, stage and sector, and there's a search box. If you'd rather read a list than look at a map, switch to Grid.

Each city and each sector also gets its own page, like startups in Visakhapatnam, so you can send someone a link to exactly the list you mean.

Jobs you can still apply to

The panel on the right of the map is a jobs board for freshers, interns and apprentices in IT, across India, not just AP. There's a second board for people with one or two years of experience.

The rule is simple: if we can't confirm a job is still open, we take it down. We wrote about how that works in why our jobs board shows fewer jobs.

News, without the noise

"Latest news" pulls startup stories from Inc42 and YourStory into the map, so you can see what's happening without leaving.

Works on your phone

Most people will find this on their phone, from a WhatsApp forward. So the map, the filters and the jobs all work on a small screen.

Missing a company? Add it.

We will never find every startup on our own. If you run one, or know one that's missing, submit it. It's free. We check it, and it goes on the map with a Submitted label until we can confirm it another way.

Founders who want more eyes can also promote their startup in the strip at the bottom of the map. That's how we keep the rest of it free.
